InstaSloth - A Chrome Extension for Sloth Lovers
InstaSloth is a free Chrome extension developed by Julian De Ocampo. This add-on provides users with a collection of sloth images that can be easily inserted as reaction posts on social media websites. With just one click, users can open InstaSloth and choose from a selection of "Mood Sloths" that match their current mood, or opt for the "Random Sloths" feature that searches and randomizes sloth images from Flickr.
To use InstaSloth, simply click on the sloth icon in the toolbar to open the extension. From there, select your desired sloth image and have its URL automatically inserted into your active text field. It's a fun and convenient way to add a touch of slothiness to your online conversations.
Please note that the "Random Sloth" feature is currently disabled as it is still under development. In the meantime, the extension appends the first several images found of sloths on Flickr. The code used for this feature is distributed through a BSD-style license and is not for commercial purposes.
All sloth images used in InstaSloth are sourced from Flickr and are used under the Creative Commons license. The developer is currently compiling a list of attributions as a courtesy to the photographers.
InstaSloth also includes certain elements that were recreated with the help of online tutorials. The JQuery tabs were created using a tutorial by Inspirational Pixels, and the image grid was created with the assistance of Ali Jafarian's tutorial.
